ANNOUNCEMENTS

I am sorry to announce that I have made a decision to officially close Cypsis' Blog.

All the reviews stay up as they are, but I will not write more reviews. Cypsis' Blog had many ups-and-downs during those 7 years and I have tried to give the best I could, but unfortunately my life has moved on so much that finding time for reviewing has become more and more difficult. Closing the blog is breaking my heart, but I have thought a lot about it and understood that it is for the best. I am very thankful to everybody who have enjoyed reading my reviews.
(PS. I am still continuing to watch Asian dramas and you can always find me on Mydramalist.com)

Thank you for all these 7 years. I hope that those 240 reviews made you happy. I truly had unforgettable time writing them!

Sincerely, Cypsis

Firstly, I admit that I was very disappointed in the drama as it is (at least was) hyped up drama and I was expecting a lot from it. Even though it took me years until I decided to really watch, I was hoping to see an awesome drama. What can go wrong when you have Lee Min Ho, interior design+architecture, doubts in sexual orientation and two totally different characters living together?

Based on same-named manga by Mikimoto Rin. The manga has huge fanbase and this movie was long-waited by many. Before the movie came out there was prequel drama-series what was about Haruka's high-school, before he became teacher and everything. The drama has different cast and movie cast does not make appearance in drama. (unfortunately have not seen yet)

Well, what to say - Yanne forced me into watching it and I suffered all the way until the end. It was difficult for me to watch it, but at the same time it all was worth it.

Rating: 5/5
If this movie does not make you get up from your bed and work for your success then I do not know what would. It is one of the most inspiring movies I have seen and to think, that it is the actual story of Tob's life, it is insane. Of course, there are some things added to the movie to make it more interesting for viewers.

Woah! It has been a long time since I made a marathon! Okey, in reality I watched first episode in late May, but I watched all other episodes now in a row. It is definitely one drama you should not drop just after watching first episode.

Despite that Yanne's opinion on it was "lousy story and built-up on action scenes", I really enjoyed watching it. Of course, after all these weeks of watching "low-quality" horror movies, it was delightful to watch something not depressing.

While I was hoping that third movie is at least better than second then I was totally wrong. Despite having famous cast playing the main characters, movie itself was more than disappointing.

This is the least known movie from "One missed call" series, because they have really unknown cast also. I had know idea what to expect from it and it turned out to be even worse than my no-expectations, but it sure was funnier  than the first movie.

Sunday night is horror night! Just kidding! I bet most of you know already that I am really bad with horror movies - I am easily scared and I just hate watching scary things. Luckily I can say that the first movie of "One missed call" did not make me feel any kind of emotion at all. Though it would still be scary to receive a call from my own number. I rather have my ex calling me after 2,5 years to say that he misses me than have a call from myself (story of today).

Woop woop woop - best friend love! Funny thing is how me and Yanne watched it. We wanted to watch it together but as Yanne is still in Japan and I am in my country it is kinda tricky. So we pushed play button at the same time and continued to give opinions in FB chat, because we have a bad habit of commenting everything. Still it was really nice way to "watch together". For me it is much easier to watch movies/dramas together than alone.

I watched it on a plane on a way back from Japan. I am really into supernatural things, but I must say that it was not what I expected, maybe it would have been better in 3D, because the quality of the movie on the plane was really really bad.

I loved that it was enough funny, surreal and sad.
Yanne sent me the link and said "Don't ask, just watch it" and after first episode I was "Guys WHAT THE RAMEN??" It made absolutely no sense and yet it had a charm of interest to watch another episode. And oh yeah the episodes are only 15 minutes long, so it takes only 3 hours to watch it.

It is based on same-named manga by Kanae Hazuki. I can already say that it is a shoujo-manga, so be ready for some overly lovey-dovey unrealistic scenes.

Drama is based on same-titled best-seller by Shigematsu Kiyoshi. The cast is amazing for the drama.
Yasu is not the smartest pencil on the box, but I can say that he makes it up with some other things.

I actually watched it a months ago last year, but I did not make a review about it as I thought it is too short. Now with new year beginning I made summary of year and I discovered that I should make a review of it. So here it is as the first review of the year.
