ANNOUNCEMENTS

I am sorry to announce that I have made a decision to officially close Cypsis' Blog.

All the reviews stay up as they are, but I will not write more reviews. Cypsis' Blog had many ups-and-downs during those 7 years and I have tried to give the best I could, but unfortunately my life has moved on so much that finding time for reviewing has become more and more difficult. Closing the blog is breaking my heart, but I have thought a lot about it and understood that it is for the best. I am very thankful to everybody who have enjoyed reading my reviews.
(PS. I am still continuing to watch Asian dramas and you can always find me on Mydramalist.com)

Thank you for all these 7 years. I hope that those 240 reviews made you happy. I truly had unforgettable time writing them!

Sincerely, Cypsis

Rating: 2/5
To tell you the truth I was never really interested in this movie, even though people said it is a great one. But I admit that it has some great points and even similar things have been used later – like the beginning fantasy part  in “Playful Kiss” and same 100 day contract in “Marry me, Mary”.
But as Yanne told me "This movie is only good when you are a newbie to Asian dramas and movies".

Rating: 3/5
To tell you the truth, then I have not been impressed or interested in “Kindaichi Kosuke vs Akechi Kogoro” for a single time and it continues even after watching it. Only difference for me is that now I see it as SP of “MONSTERS” with time travel to past.

MONSTERS (2012)

But the thing is that Hiratsuka is not like others - he is odd, mysterious, sometimes rude and most of the time very annoying.
Rating: 4/5
I remember when “MONSTERS” first aired and how Yanne watched the whole first episode via KeyHole – for you to know first episode is 90 minutes long. While airing this drama did not get great viewer-ratings and people started to talk how Johnny’s cannot bring ratings anymore, but I just think that it is really underrated drama.
